  1. New Program at Prescott Valley Pubic Library – Check out a Google Chromebook!

    December 4, 2020, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Prescott Valley Public Library

Chromebooks aren’t like other laptops. They run Chrome OS, an operating system made by Google. They are powerful, so they can handle what’s important to you and designed in a way that makes them easy to use. PVPL lets you check out a Google Chromebook for three weeks. Checking out a Chromebook, first do you have internet or WIFI access? Chromebooks won't work without internet/WIFI access. Each Chromebook (we have 20) contains printed instructions on how to get started. You will be asked to: Fill Out an Agreement Form - You must be in good standing and at least 18 in order to check out. You will need to be given a copy of the blank agreement form to take after signing your form. These projects are supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
