  1. Prescott Valley Public Library Presents: ‘Jim the Boy - A Novel’ A Deeper Look

    PVPL will be offering a 7-week class on the novel ‘Jim the Boy’. These sessions will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays, Jan 26th – March 11th, 2021. The virtual pre-recorded presentations will be unlocked at 10:00 am. You will be able to enjoy these sessions from the comfort of your own home. ‘Jim the Boy’, a novel by Tony Earley, is set in 1934 and describes one year in the life of a ten-year-old boy who lives with his mother and three uncles in a small rural town. Registration is required and space is limited - Register at pvlib.net>attend>classes & programs. Once registered, you will be checked out the book ‘Jim the Boy’ if needed.     Prescott Valley Public Library will be celebrating 2021 with a Virtual Masquerade Party where everyone’s a suspect! The Vampire King is dead, but who killed him, and why? You’re invited to solve the case as one of the resident supernaturals of the royal court. Be sure to register and pick up your murder mystery costume kit at the library's Young Adult Department. Limited supplies and space available. For ages 12-18. Murder Mystery Kits Available: January 4, 2021 at the Young Adult Department.
