2018 Ice Skating Season

ICE SKATING SEASON - Nov. 17, 2018 -  Jan. 7, 2019

The Prescott Valley Event Center is open for Public Ice Skating, Open Hockey, and Adult Hockey League games November 17th thru January 7, 2019.  Skate sessions vary by day and the schedule is subject to change.  Please check the MONTHLY SKATE CALENDAR for the most up to date schedule.  Public skating is at your own risk.


Open Skate is for all ages and skill levels.  Skate rentals are available on a first come first served basis - we offer sizes from Youth 9 to Mens 13. Tot walkers are available upon request for children ages 8 and under - our walkers are designed to assist children on the ice as they learn to skate properly and safely.  Helmets, knee and elbow pads are recommended but not required.  Helmets are available upon request.  Public Skating attendees should enter at the PVEC Northeast doors (closest to Liberty Elementary School - NOT by main entrance near box office.)  No hockey sticks or pucks are allowed during Open Skate.


     • Adults (13 and up)  $5.00 per session
     • Kids (12 and under)  $3.00 per session
     • Toddlers (3 and under)  Free
     • Skate Rentals (regardless of age)  $4.00 per pair/per session
     • Skate sharpening $6.00 per pair
     • Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to each skating session


Open Hockey sessions are available for hockey players that would like to drop by and join in a pick up hockey game.

     • 18 Years and Older
     • Full Equipment required
     • $10 per session
     • Goalies - FREE
     • Open Hockey is at your own risk


The Adult Hockey League is a recreational hockey league open to men and women ages 18 and up. This is a non-fighting, non-checking league focused on promoting physical fitness and competitive sportsmanship.  Click here for more Adult Hockey League information including registration dates, rosters, game results and more.  Adult Hockey is at your own risk.


Private Ice Rentals are available starting at $300/hour + skate rental.
