COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICESCOVID-19 Info

The Town of Prescott Valley Civic Center closed its doors effective 3/19/2020, due the health concerns of COVID-19 Virus, and as a result we have put the changes in place. All Departments will be available via telephone and email.  The Staff and Department Directory can be located on our website at www.pvaz.net.

Code Enforcement: Inquiries and questions can be addressed directly to the Code Enforcement Officers by appointment only (928) 759-3050.

Permit Applications:   Applications are available on our website.  Any difficulty in locating the necessary documents please contact the Community Development Department at (928) 759-3050.

Permit Processing:  Completed Permit Applications with signature, date, and clear contact information (Phone Number and Email) & Plans can be placed in cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.  Please call (928)759-3050 to let us know that they have arrived.

Permit Approvals & Payment:  Once the Building Permit or Zoning Clearance Permit is approved, payment can be made via Credit Card over the phone or by Check.  If questions, please call (928) 759-3050

Permit Pickup:  When you are ready to pick up your approved Building Permit or Zoning Clearance, we will place your plans and permits in the cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level).   In some cases we will email your approved permit.  If questions, please call (928) 759-3050

Inspections:  All inspection requests must be called in prior to 6:30 A.M. for same day inspection to our IVR (Interactive Voice Response System) (928)759-3060.  Inspections can be scheduled up-to 5-days in advance.  Instructions/brochure is available on our website.  

Appointments:  On Premise Appointments will be limited, and will be a case-by-case basis.  Please contact us at (928) 759-3050.

PERMITTING

With the Civic Center Closure due to the COVID-19 Virus effective 3/19/20, we have evolved our procedure for processing incoming and outgoing permits in response to any service concerns:

PERMIT APPLICATIONS:   Permit Applications are available on our Website at WWW.pvaz.net.  Any difficulty in locating the necessary documents please contact the Community Development Department at (928) 759-3050.

ZONING APPLICATIONS:   Completed Zoning Applications with signature, date, and clear contact information (Phone Number and Email) & Plans can be emailed to comdev@pvaz.net  or can be placed in Plans Cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center  7501 E. Skoog Blvd.  Please call us (928)759-3050 to let us know that they have arrived.

BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS:  Completed Building Permit Applications with all documents signed and dated, with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email) & when submitted with 8 ½” x 11” size plans.  The Application and Plans can be emailed to comdev@pvaz.net or they can be placed in Plans Cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.  If dropping off Permits and/or Plans for processing, please call us (928)759-3050 to let us know that they have arrived.

BUILDING PERMITS APPLICATIONS WITH LARGE OR ROLLED PLANS:  The application, required documents, and plans can be placed in Plans Cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.   Prior to placing all of the documents in the cabinet please insure that they are signed and dated with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email). Please call us (928)759-3050 to let us know that you have dropped off Permits and/or Plans for processing.

COMMERCIAL PERMIT APPLICATIONS: :  The application, required documents, and plans can be placed in Plans Cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.   Prior to placing all of the documents in the cabinet please ensure that they are signed and dated with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email). Please call us (928)759-3050 to let us know that you have dropped off Permits and/or Plans for processing.

ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS/ LARGE ROLLED PLANS/ AND REPORTS:  Can be placed in Plans Cabinet located near the 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.   Prior to placing all of the Required Documents in the cabinet please insure that they are signed and dated with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email). Please call us (928)759-3050 to let us know that you have dropped off Application/plans/reports for possessing.
