“PVPL Quilters” Ongoing Program: Prescott Valley Public Library’s informal group of quilters meet twice a month to enjoy each other’s company, work on projects (hand or machine), and share techniques with each other. The group frequently has snacks and refreshments, as well as a Show and Tell.

Aging? Everyone is doing it! Join us at Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 East Civic Circle, Prescott Valley). In this workshop we will examine how the way we are aging is changing, mostly for the better. Our ability to live longer, healthier, more productive lives is one of mankind’s greatest accomplishments. However, we don’t always see it that way. Are you interested in exploring new perspectives of living and aging? Join AARP Arizona as we discuss and explore new choices to age and live life on your terms. This workshop is open to individuals, families and caregivers, anyone who is interested in celebrating life through creativity and reimagining opportunities. Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10:00 am to Noon. A check-in table and door will open at 9:30 am.

“Coloring Class for Adults” Ongoing PVPL Program: Come and enjoy a relaxing time coloring with other adults. No rules, just fun! You can bring in your favorite coloring book and materials or choose from a variety of coloring pages and materials that we have to explore the simple pleasures of coloring. Some basic instruction for ideas and techniques to spice up your coloring are available. Remember there is no right or wrong way to color, just have fun!
