  1. Winter Reads @ Your Library 2018

    January 16, 2018, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Prescott Valley Public Library

    Need a good reason to take a break after the busy holiday schedule and get some reading done? Your library has just the thing! Chill out with a good book during our Winter Reads Adult Program (WRAP), January 1-31, 2018. Adults can read, attend a library program, or complete other literary related activities to be entered into a prize drawing. Stop by the library’s Help Desk to pick up your BINGO Game Board or print one from the library website. (One BINGO Board Game per person). Make sure to return your completed BINGO Game Board to the library by January 31st; then "WRAP"- up the month by attending the Winter Tea Party on Feb 2nd from 3-5pm in the PVPL Crystal Room. The prize drawing will be held at the Winter Tea Party. Let’s welcome winter with enthusiasm! The program is open to all patrons age 18 and older. For more information call 928-759-3040.

  2. Caldecott Books and Art for Kids

    January 16, 2018, 2:30 PM - 3:45 PM @ Library Children's Program Room

    Through a presentation and a related art activity, elementary students have the opportunity to learn about illustrator Roger Duvoisin and the book, "White Snow, Bright Snow", written by Alvin Tresselt. This event is brought to you by Prescott Art Docents, a volunteer organization dedicated to sharing their love of art with children. Most appropriate for children ages 5-12.   3. Introduction to Excel

    January 16, 2018, 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Library PC Lab

    Are you interested in learning Excel? Prescott Valley Public Library is offering a 3-week class, Introduction to Excel on Tuesdays (1/16, 1/23, 1/30) from 3-5:30pm. Classes will cover the basics of creating and using Excel spreadsheets. Excel can be used to budget your personal finances and keep track of your investments. You can also use Excel to follow loan repayments, compare different mortgages, create invoices and more. Space is limited and registration is required.   4. PVPL’s Everyone Improv

    Want to learn the art of improv? Join the Prescott Valley Public Library’s ongoing group, “PVPL’s Everyone Improv,” which will meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Utilizing games, practice, silliness, acceptance, and bravery, you will explore all of the extraordinary places that improv can take you—with a lot of laughs along the way! The program will meet at 5:30pm in the Prescott Valley Public Library’s Crystal Room (7401 E. Civic Circle). This program is free, and no registration is required. You must be 18+ to join.
