Prescott Valley Art Guild Meeting, Wed. July 18, 2018, Prescott Valley Library, 3rd Floor Chrystal Room. Eric Slayton will demonstrate his loose, "Alla Prima" approach to oil painting. Eric brings his bravura brushwork and colorful interpretations to each canvas whether his subject is the Grand Canyon or a simple rowboat on a pond. His images are filled with light and wonderful color harmonies. “A painting should be more than a portrait of the subject matter...it must evoke an emotion that connects with the artists’ heart, only then can it touch the viewer”. . . states Eric. The Prescott Valley Art Guild promotes art awareness and creative growth. Meetings are free and open to anyone who shares our love of art. Refreshments are served. Business meeting starts at 9:30, followed by program around 10:30. For information, visit website http://www.prescottvalleyartguild.org/ or contact Cathy Severson at 928-775-4949 or cathys997@yahoo.com
