Economic Overview
Prescott Valley is at the epicenter of a booming tri-city economy. Every day new businesses open in the central Yavapai County region and Prescott Valley was the  fastest growing municipality in northern Arizona during the first half dozen years of the decade. Prescott Valley is a fairly new community – celebrating its 30th birthday in 2008 – and as such all employment sectors are growing, including retail, manufacturing, health care, entertainment and others. For example, in 2006, a full-service acute care hospital and a regional rehabilitation hospital opened, representing more than $75 million in private investment in the community and more than 450 employees. The $30-million Tim's Toyota Center opened in November 2006 and seats about 6,300 for concerts and 4,800 for minor league hockey games. The facility is anchored by the Arizona Sundogs, a Double A Central Hockey League team.

Location
Prescott Valley is located on Highway 69, a four-lane highway about 25 miles from Interstate 17 and about 85 miles north of downtown Phoenix. Interstate 40 is about 50 miles to the north.

Work Force

Housing
Prescott Valley offers a myriad of housing choices from apartments to town homes to condominiums to single-family homes ranging in price from the low 100s to luxury homes offering expansive views and golf course living.

Property Availability
A variety of commercial buildings and land parcels are available for new or relocated businesses. Industrial parks are being built and the new downtown is anchored by the Entertainment District which contains restaurants, offices, a 14 screen movie theater and Tim's Toyota Center. Climate
Prescott Valley is located in central Arizona at an elevation of about 5,100 feet. and experiences four mild seasons and climate. Temperatures generally range about 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix to the south.

Infrastructure
All modern infrastructure is in place including water and sewer systems, natural gas service, telecommunication services and a modern road system supported by a special .33% sales tax. The sewage treatment plant recently was expanded at a cost of $17 million.

Things to Do
Prescott Valley and its surroundings offer a myriad of activities, from hiking and boating in the Prescott National Forest, to enjoying fishing on Fain Lake to watching thoroughbred horse racing at Yavapai Downs at Prescott Valley. First-class talents like James Taylor, Alan Jackson, Stevie Nicks and many others have performed in the 6,000-seat Tim's Toyota Center.  Visitors and residents alike enjoy such special events in the community as Prescott Valley Days in the summer, the World Arts Festival in the fall, and the Valley of Lights during the Holiday season.
