Prior to 1994, the Town of Prescott Valley did not have a wastewater collection or treatment system. Each of the existing 6,000 homes at that time were served by individual septic tanks. Now most of the homes in Prescott Valley are connected to the Town's wastewater collection system which has approximately 280 miles of underground pipes and 9 pumping stations. Water from the Town's 15,000 homes enters these pipes and flows to the wastewater treatment plant.
Sewer Roaches can be reported at: customeraccounts@pvaz.net or by calling 928-759-3020. For Sewer Backups, please call CH2MHill OMI at 928-759-9062.

The Town's wastewater treatment plant cleans approximately 2,500,000 gallons of wastewater every day. This plant was originally constructed in 1993 and was recently expanded to a capacity of 3.75 million gallons per day.
