CIVIL         

The Town Attorney and the Deputy Town Attorney represent the Town in civil lawsuits in addition to providing legal advice and guidance to the Town Council, Town Manager, all Town departments, boards, committees and commissions.  The Town Attorney's office is also responsible for drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, agreements, leases and other legal documents, in addition to revising and updating the Town Code. 

CRIMINAL    

The Town Prosecutor is responsible for prosecuting all misdemeanor criminal offenses and civil and criminal traffic offenses that occur within the Town of Prescott Valley.  The Prosecutor also assists with the enforcement of Town Codes violations and acts as the legal advisor to the Police Department.
