NEW SCULPTURES SOUGHT FOR THE 2011 Art at the Center Exhibit Program
The Prescott Valley Arts and Culture Commission seek applicants for its annual Art at the Center sculpture program. Each year the Arts and Culture Commission review numerous entries, through a juried process, that desire to be part of its annual display and promotion. The goal of the program is two fold. First and for most, enhance and expand the community’s exposure to the arts. Second, market the artists work with the understanding that each visiting piece on display is for sale and that a portion of their sale proceeds will further the operation of the program.
Those sculptures, on loan from the artists, will inhabit our campus for one year until a new set arrives each and every spring. Until then, please enjoy this fabulous experience of interacting with these varied displays as you wander the grounds of the Civic Center. And take your time; they each have a special story to tell if you are willing to listen.
