Learn how to sew a tote bag with our experienced instructor, Lourna Crooks! Classes consist of 2 sessions during which students will learn sewing techniques to be able to make their own tote bags – all students will have a completed tote bag of their own by the end of the second session. *Students must know how to operate their sewing machine*
Week 1: Start a tote bag
Classes are held Tuesdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm or 12:30pm to 2:30pm in Conference Room 330 (located on the 3rd floor of the Civic Center, 7501 E. Civic Circle, Prescott Valley)
Students must provide their own supplies, including:
- Sewing machine, scissors, fabric/batting, small ruler, thread (color of fabric), seam ripper, hand sewing needle, straight pins, pencil and paper (for notes)
- Optional: walking foot (preferred, used for quilting and thicker projects with batting)
